Both religion/spirituality and BDSM are sought after for their ability to help a human being find meaning and purpose. Explore the existential themes that weave through and connect these practices in this new series with Headmistress Shahrazad. Participants will be encouraged to contribute from their own lived experience to the facilitated discussion. Topics are non-denominational and can be applied regardless of participants’ personal practices.
Tonight’s theme is “Ritual and Meaning: Exploring Conscious Intention”. The discussion will center on how we can bring more spirituality and intentionality to the practice of BDSM through ritual, and how the rituals already inherent in kink can help us tune into a more multilayered and multidimensional experience. Bring your curiosity, reflections, and maybe a mug of tea!
