There are many workshops taught on the hard skills of bondage, whether its rope or straps, scarves or mummification. But if the players don’t understand the psychology of bondage, the underlying motivations and headspace of those who want to restrain or be restrained, then they will find themselves at a distinct disadvantage when it comes to executing a satisfying scene. We will debunk myths about bondage play, explore the myriad of psychological motivations for desiring bondage from the perspective of both the top and the bottom and look at practical tips and tricks for maximizing the desired headspace. We will also troubleshoot situations where a person’s physical experience of the bondage itself deviates from what they imagined it would be like.
