TRC Munch
About:
Munches are BDSM socials held in a casual pub or restaurant, and are an opportunity for like-minded kinksters to meet, learn, eat great food, and create community.
The TRC Munch is a casual monthly social/educational event for kinksters of all stripes, hosted by The Ritual Chamber dungeon (but physically taking place at The Alpine Restaurant at 2872 Dundas West). We offer a femdom-run, queer/trans positive, and sex worker friendly space that is open for all kinky and kink-curious humans to attend.
Evenings may include icebreakers, speakers, panels, discussion, and of course, plenty of social time.
Topic:
Our topic this month will be: "Bringing Spontaneity to BDSM"
Cost:
$10 in advance. Advance ticket purchase required. Do not just show up – if you’re not on our list you will be refused entry.
The fee will cover an honorarium for guest speaker(s), and the remainder of the money collected will be donated in its entirety to True North Aid, an organization committed to serving northern indigenous communities in Canada with practical humanitarian support.
Rules:
We have a zero-tolerance policy against racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, misogyny, and other forms of hate. Please come with an attitude of respect for all humans.
Come dressed in casual street-wear. Shirts with non-explicit kink inferences are fine but fetish-wear is not.
Don’t disturb those dining at the establishment who are not a part of our munch.
No PDA or explicit kink play.
All attendees are encouraged to purchase something to eat or drink so that we can support our host restaurant, which has had a difficult time through the pandemic. Please be kind to your waitstaff so we will be welcomed back in future.
Don’t yuck another person’s yum. You may not be into the same kinks as your fellow attendees, but we ask that all participants have tolerance for each other’s differences.
No pictures unless everyone in the frame verbally consents to the picture being taken/posted.
Should there be another wave of the pandemic causing us to be unable to meet in person, we will pivot the munch onto Zoom for as long as necessary. We will follow public health recommendations in that regard.
Organizers reserve the right to ask anyone to leave the event at their discretion should they be in contravention of the rules of the TRC munch.
