Embodied Dominance: The Physicality of Being in Charge

Many new/learning Dominants approach the practice in a way that keeps us more in our heads than in our bodies. This embodiment-focused workshop draws on somatic techniques from Gestalt therapy that will add a whole new dimension to the way you experience yourself as a top or Dominant, and to the way your bottoms and subs experience you. If you:
• Have a hard time connecting with your own pleasure while you’re topping
• Know the skills but feel a lack of confidence when actually executing them
• Feel that your demeanor is not Dominant
• Have a hard time being present when topping
• Feel that the effect you have on your sub is not as impactful as you’d like it to be
• Are looking for skills to physically attune to a submissive’s experience
• Find that you get stuck in your head a lot during scenes

Come prepared for more experience than notetaking, we are going to train our body memory rather than our brain memory
